Once upon a time, as a kids book author/illustrator, I used to be very much against eBooks.

"Who the hell wants to hand their kid a couple 'o hundred dollar device to get peanut butter all over?" I'd say. Or, "how can a teacher hold up an eBook at story time?"

But then I did some traveling and noticed that EVERYONE (even kids) were looking at iPads or Kindles.

So, I went and started making some of my out of print books available as eBooks (see my previous few blog posts). But then I had a better more relevant idea: Why not make an eBook specifically for kids on planes?
