Chit Chat with author Debra Daugherty
New Year's come and gone and soon it will be Valentine's Day.
I am getting tired of this cold blast of artic air that lingers. Spring cannot
come soon enough for me.
Being cooped up in the house because of the cold, snow and ice has one advantage. I can curl up with a good book and sip on hot cocoa.
I am hoping young children are now finding my book, Calamity Cat, on the MeeGenius website and reading it. There were a few glitches when it first came out, but they are gone now, and Calamity Cat can be found in four of the MeeGenius Categories: Animals, Ages 3-5, MeeGenius Originals and Family.
Once you've had a chance to read Calamity Cat, I would greatly appreciate it if you, along with your parents, would go to goodreads.com and give a review/rating.
I don't have a cat, but my dogs, Honey and CeCe, keep me company. They don't like this cold weather either.
My brother has taken in a cat, or I should say a cat has decided to live in my brother's garage. It's a black cat with white paws and is very friendly. My brother feeds it and gives it milk, and it has warm blankets to curl up in to sleep. I don't think my brother's named his cat yet. I think Calamity would be a great name for it, don't you?
I hope everyone is staying warm. Read to pass the time and Spring will soon be here.
If you'd like to look up Calamity Cat, go to www.MeeGenius.com, or http://www.meegenius.com/readers/1/04...
