Hello lovely readers,

As I am working on a tight deadline, I am going to keep this brief, but in light of the debacle that’s occurred over the past couple of days whereby an author gleefully admits to stalking a reviewer who, gasp, didn’t like her book, and the fear I know this has put in many bloggers and reviewers, I would like to say this:

I, Michelle Smart, do solemnly swear that any person may read any of my books and review them without fear. You are entitled to your opinions on my work, just as I am entitled to my own opinions of the books I read. If you love my books then brilliant. If you hate my books then fine. Opine about it, be it positive or negative, as much as you like. Reviews are for readers not for my ego (although I freely admit my ego particularly enjoys the positive ones!). Without readers, authors have nothing.

And with that, I shall get off my soap-box and return to my writing cave J
