Timmy's Review of At the Lake by Geoff Laughton

This was a bit of a light read. In a way, that’s a good thing, but also not such a good thing. Let me explain. One way I know I’m invested in the characters is by “feeling” their emotions. And, if I’m emotionally invested in characters, I normally find I enjoy the read more. On the other hand, if I’m not too deeply emotionally sucked in, I get a nice break from crazy roller coaster of emotions a deep read will put me through.
