The Lords of Arcadia series is a different genre from what I’m used to reading from Mr. Goode. I wasn’t sure at first if it was for me because it was a fantasy series, but I was so shown otherwise. I think that was because the series wasn’t what I had expected and it threw me off. That goes to show me I should never start a new series with preconceived ideas of what I would find.
