I imagine Ivan would be passionately adverse to any job on Jackson's Whole. I could see him having his hands full when his kids are teens though. Particularly when one or more invariable feels Ivan's idea of safe peaceful bliss is hopelessly boring and they have a conscious or unconscious drive to liven things up. His kid(s) could then learn Da isn't as unaccustomed to or unequipped for drama as they imagined. That turn, from kids seeing their parent's as only parents, to realizing they are full human beings, who existed long before they became parents as potentially many other things, is always an event, and sometimes also eventful.
