I grew up reading your books and I loved them. I've expressed my love for you books on social media several times, and I love how you always interact with your readers! I've written you cards and letters years ago, and you always wrote back! It's a shame the Dutch published stoped publishing your books and that you only came to visit us once.. Maybe I'll see you again some time abroad! I would really like that, because you are one of my writing heroes! Not just because of your writing, but because of your interaction with your readers. You're an example for kids and other writers, keep going strong! <3
I grew up reading your books Darren, and I even convinced my Dad and brothers to read them too! You were an inspiration to me as a kid, so just keep going as you are! I hope to bump into you one day.
I started reading your books in highschool, as a good friend of mine suggested them to me. The first one I read was A Living Nightmare, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I then started to read the Demonata series and completely fell in love. I have been reading the same series now for a few years, I think solely due to the fact that I don't want the stories to end. I have been avoiding finishing them because I want the story to continue. I have suggested your books to other friends time and time again, and I proudly name you as one of my favourite authors. Thank you for bringing such magic into mine and other's lives :)
Hi Darren, I recently read your Cirque Du Freak series and loved it! I collect signed books and I was wondering if there would be any way I could send you my paperback series to sign for me? II am in Australia, so I know the postage will be expensive, but I'm willing to save up and cover the cost in order to have them signed. I wasn't able to find your email address to contact you privately, so hopefully this message reaches you :)
