Darren Shan Getting feedback from readers, whether it's in letter or emails, or when I meet them in person while on tour. I write stories to try to make connections with readers, and there's nothing more rewarding than experiencing the proof that my stories have come alive inside their heads and worked the wonders that I was hoping they would.
