The key: "I write knowing I can revise, that I can come back to my words, my dialogue, my narrative, and I can write again. I have the freedom to do all of that, and am feel very blessed indeed." The foundation to resolution, in my humble opinion.
Amen! I'm a 40 year career artist and have no time for creative crises. I feel so grateful to have been able to do my art, freely and for so long. I applaud your answer. That attitude is what makes your books my all time favorites!
