Around the World in 80 Books

[close] 1) All readers must read 80 books written by authors from 80 different countries EXCLUDING Canada, the UK and the US.
2) One book per country will be counted.
3) All authors must have been born and spent a significant portion of their lives in a country that is not Canada, the UK, or the US. For example: Azar Nafisi (Reading Lolita in Tehran) counts for Iran. Isak Denisen (Out of Africa) counts for Denmark. As much as possible, try to find books and writers from the country you are claiming a point for. They are out there somewhere.
4) Books can be from any genre or about any topic to qualify.
5) When posting completed books, include the title of the book, the country of origin, and the date you finished reading it. The first person to complete 80 books wins.
