Hunks in History
Ever read a historical novel and ended up falling in love with the hero? Someone who makes your heart go pitter patter and leave you swooning? Looking for some new hunk to fall in love with all over again? I'm putting my favorites here but everyone jump in and share your favorites, and we'll see who is the #1 Hunk in History.
Note: this is for HISTORICAL HUNKS. They can be fictional but the characters and stories have to be in a historical setting - contemporary settings and characters do not belong here.

Jamie Fraser is my favorite red head in a kilt.

Well of course, I love EC's heroes. Marg's right, it hard to chose but fun watching the votes, it's very close.
I'm the only Cyrano fan, huh?
(Anybody seen the Depardieu version? I haven't been able to get my hands on it.)

I'm with you Hayes! It's the nose coupled with such complete sincerity...

That is odd. Susannah likes to keep the lists OT. Let's see what she says.

Erm, how did that Twilight crap get on this list. Yes please, make it go away. #43 - #45 as well. I'll see if I need to alter the rules. Geez.

Yes please plus the JR Ward. You watch though. Edward will be back :/

What? A movie?
Laure, William Marshal gets my top vote anytime :)

Misfit,
Well, according to Paullina Simons' blog, she says that they are either "moving forward or going in a different direction". She is the one, though, that is writing the screenplay for the film. The movie might not be coming out next year, but it is in the works.
Check out her blog, http://paullinasimons.com/blog/ dated May 26,2011
Portnoy's Complaint needs to be removed.

As for the Sandra Hill votes, I'm not going there. Please tell me it wasn't Karla or Rachel who voted.
I...I would never! But technically it does qualify. >:D Though The Outlaw Viking is time travel. In which case, if that doesn't qualify, Outlander would have to get nixed too. ;)

I won't take them down anyway. I just had to chuckle over the additions. Besides, we could never remove Jamie from the list. He's still on top :)

I'm thinking Control Switch On: The Untold Story Of The Most Powerful Man In The World-Ryan Moran-Who Shaped The Planet For Peace is on the wrong list.

He inspired me to a new shelf: Listopia spammer.
Amazon gives the ASIN for that Unknown book as:
A ESCOLA [Board Book]
MIGUEL M.ABRAHAO (Author)
But another book listed under that "unknown" author is
War, Imperialism & Dissent (Documents on US Foreign Policy) by Robert Buzzanco (2005)
So who knows. Looks like a dumping ground of unknowns. O__o

(and I'm sure Misfit won't mind Luciano del Santi and Justin Ambrose going on there, too!)
