Thanks for pointing us to these Ahem. I was hoping to get some more respectful books on the debate like Finding Darwin's God. I find both sides look down on the other side and I would love to read some respectful debate.

Yes, you're right. There are respectable books by qualified scholars on both sides, and every open-minded person would want to read the arguments of both before deciding.

On the other hand, persons with elitist attitudes might want you to blindly put faith in and follow the majority... but regardless of the level of anyone's scientific education, there's one discipline which we all are (hopefully) trained in, and which rules supreme over all other subjects, even science... and that is logic and common sense.

So whichever position is more correct (and there are more than two), looking at the evidences objectively and weighing them against reason should guide us to the correct conclusions.

This book was a good read for me because it was logical, respectful discussion between friends, and "smart" but not talking over my head. Good food for thought.
