Julie Barnard
Julie Barnard asked Jennifer Ryan:

Is there an audio book? Does it have the music?

Jennifer Ryan The audio book is wonderful, and yes, it does have some of the music. The publisher held a choir competition, asking women-only choirs to send in music clips from their singing, and together we chose one, and believe it or not, they came from a town in Kent, very close to where Chilbury was set.
They're a choir of ten or so moms whose children go to a local school, and their voices are amazing. They were invited to a studio where four songs from the book were recorded: The Lord's My Shepherd, Abide with Me, Ave Maria, and All Creatures of our God and King. They were terrific! The audio book has parts of each song appearing in the relevant scene, which really adds to the atmosphere.
The cast of characters reading the book is wonderful too. Five actors and actresses were used, all making the most of those characterful voices. It's a real treat!
