Hello Christopher! First, I want to thank you for answering my recent fan mail- it made my day, my week, my year! Second, I would like to know if you knew how The Inheritance Cycle was going to end before you started writing it or if you made the story up as you went?

I took an entire month and plotted out the Inheritance Cycle. Then while writing the series, although I still followed my original outline, I was able to add more and more detail by daydreaming about the world of Alagaësia and its inhabitants. So a little of both!

When are you coming up with next book in eragon series? I've finished brisingr long time ago and I really was eager to know if eragon does what he set out to be! I know you are concentrating more on sci-fi project. I really wanna insist you to finish the eragon series before you do anything else.
