Goodreads asked Michael Robotham:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Michael Robotham Sometimes I use the old Hemingway technique of never finishing a chapter or scene at the end of the day, but leaving it unfinished for the next morning. This means I automatically know what I'm going to write when I get to my desk.
Another trick is to write a possible later scene if you get stuck on a particular transition passage.
