Hi Pamela, my question personal. You shared awhile back about how you had breast cancer. I have prayed for you since I read about that. I hope you are doing well? I Recently had my own breast cancer scare. Fortunately, my biopsy was negative. I was thinking about you, and hoping that you are healthy? I think you are an amazing person to have been through such a difficult experience and still be able to write so well.

Pamela Clare Hi, Tracey — I'm two years and four months out of treatment now, and all the indicators show no sign of disease. Breast cancer is a tricky one, because it can come back even 20 years later. But things are going as well as they could be expected to go at this point, and I'm confident that I've beat it and won't be facing it again. I'm sorry to hear about your breast-cancer scare. It really is terrifying, isn't it? I'm glad, however, that you got good news. That's something to celebrate. Keep getting those mammograms! (And that goes for all the women reading this.)

We all go through hard times, and the only option we have is to keep living the best life we can. I'm feeling more like myself these days, which is an amazing blessing after that long nightmare.
