Hi Lauren! I'm going through Pink Carnation withdrawal. Sometimes a girl just needs a good, juicy book with a hero in a cravat and a happy ending!.... Please tell me you have some plans for a spinoff in the future?

Hi, Jennifer! For Pink Carnation withdrawal, I recommend taking one dose of the Anthony Andrews "Scarlet Pimpernel" with a side of ginger biscuits.
Thank you!! I'm so happy you've enjoyed the Pink books so!
Anyway, in answer to your question, if the planets were ever in alignment, I would love love love to write two more Pink books (one about Kat and Tommy, one about Lizzy and Nicolas). I've also been toying with two different spin-off ideas: a Georgian-set mystery series featuring Lord and Lady Uppington in their riotous youth, or a 1940s-set mystery/spy series about Arabella Selwick-Alderley.
Whether any of these will ever happen, goodness only knows....

I have read all your books, and totally enjoyed The Other Daughter. It was superb. I could not put it down. I have recommended it to several friends. I am sad to hear your Carnation series is ending. I own them all, and the last pre-ordered. Would you ever consider bring back any of the Carnation characters on their own?

Hi Lauren! I'm a huge historical fiction fan and I've just finished The Ashford Affair. I LOVED it! Your style of writing and your prose is addictive! I'm DEFINITELY a fan! I'm curious to know, what got you interested in writing about that particular period of history and social class? (In other words, the social elite a.k.a. Bea's 'set'?) (P.S. I've just started reading That Summer!)
