Have you ever read The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan and later on Brandon Sanderson? It is an amazing series that I thought you would love to read! It has tons of lore, mythical beings, and tons of magic!

Only up to the third or fourth book. Never finished the series. As I remember, Jordan had published just six books when I started them.

A part of the inheritance cycle that intrigued me was the vegetarianism of the elves. But I've never quite understood why Eragon quit being vegetarian. I understand that he had to eat meat to survive when he saved Katrina's father but if I got this correctly he started eating meat again after that. Why!? He knew of the suffering of the animals and yet he made the unethical choice of eating meat.
