Goodreads asked A.E. Rayne:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

A.E. Rayne My advice would be that you don't need to wait to write a book. I kept thinking that I would need to be 'free' somehow, to find vast blocks of uninterrupted time in which to write. But the truth is, you can write a book in an hour or so a day, and despite being a very busy person, I made sure I set aside an hour each day. Those pages accumulate quickly, and before you know it, you have an actual book. Life's short. Begin!
