L.V. Krish asked R.V. Raman:

Your first two books (Fraudster & Insider) had a male police inspector as a protagonist, but the third (Saboteur) introduces a bike-riding lady inspector. What prompted you to do this? And why the shift to Bangalore? Because it is e-commerce? Do you plan to set future stories in other cities?

R.V. Raman As you write books, you want to try variations. The theme of SABOTEUR (white-collar crime in eCommerce) lent itself well to Bangalore as the setting. And I had anyway been contemplating creating a lady inspector. The two just came together in this book.

To the last part of your question, I guess I would like to set future stories in other Indian cities including Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
