Do you have a writing routine? If so, what does it look like: daily, when inspired, etc?

Ruth Emmie Lang Hi, Cynthia! I don't have much of a routine these days (I just write whenever I can squeeze it in my schedule, honestly), but back when I was writing BEASTS, I usually set aside a few hours in the evening to write. I don't like writing in the morning because I'd rather be out and about, but evenings are perfect because I can relax and get cozy on the couch before opening up my lap top. If I get stuck and need inspiration, I go for a walk (which is probably why so many of my stories are set in the woods).

I am thinking about publishing my children's picture book with Amazon. I know if I do that book sellers like Barnes and Nobles, Walmart, Target etc. Will not have my book on their shelves. Since I've decided to self publish should I worry about that?
