Hi!!! My question is sort of includes two parts. The first part is how long does each book take you to write? The second is which of your books was difficult to complete and which one was less difficult? :)

Heather Demetrios Hey! Every book is kind of its own beast. Something Real only took 6 weeks and was definitely the least difficult to write. The plot, characters, everything just kind of came at me all at once. The hardest one emotionally was probably Bad Romance, because it's so autobiographical, but my Exquisite Captive trilogy was super tough, in that it was three very different books that had to be better than the last. Actually, the book I'm working on right now is really tough too. I can't seem to find a way in. Fingers crossed!

Hi Heather!! I loved Exquisite Captive and CAN'T WAIT until the next book comes out!! Now, I was wondering: when you first submitted your MS to an agent, did you have the list of jinn castes/gods at the beginning of it? Or did your editor tell you to put them in after you got a contract? I've seen a lot of fantasies that do that (Shadow and Bone comes to mind) and I was just wondering :) Aspiring author here. lol.
