Inspiration to write comes to me through nature. I live in the east mountains above Albuquerque, surrounded by trees and quiet. That inspires me.
I go to our family ranch in southeastern Colorado and a drive out on the ranch and a chance to sit on the edge of the canyon and breath air no one else has breathed inspires me.
