Hey Kate! First off I love your books. Secondly I was curious if you could share your process with how you organize your novels as you write them? I'm an inspiring writer and I feel like everything is just chaos right now because I can't seem to find a good system in regards to organizing plot, characters, lore, etc.

Kate Quinn So glad you've enjoyed my books! As for my process, I'm a Scrivener convert with the last few books, and now I don't know how I ever lived without it. It's not the most user friendly program, but well worth the effort of learning the ins and outs, especially in terms of organization and plotting--it comes pre-loaded with character sheets, location sheets, and binders to stash and organize your research. I also highly recommend "Plot Your Book In A Month With Scrivener," written by my good friend Stephanie Dray--it'll be the best $4.99 you ever spent. It's not a "this is the one true way" plotting manual; it just takes you through a variety of useful plotting devices with the idea that one or more of them will be The One for you. I use it every time I plot a new book, and I always finish up hyper-organized and ready to go.
