I just came across your books, and am absolutely in love. I normally don't read much historical fiction as they can sometimes be very dry, and I was wandering the book store one day and came across a copy of the lion and the rose and it was absolutely wonderful. I cannot wait for The Alice Network, so my question is which did you enjoy writing more The Alice Network where is set during WW1 or the previous novels?

So glad you enjoyed LION AND THE ROSE! In truth, I can't pick a favorite era to write in. I always love whichever book I'm writing the best (unless my characters are fighting me or unless I'm in final editing stages, when I hate the book and want to throw it on the fire). Departing ancient Rome and the Renaissance for a new era like WWI was a bit scary, but still hugely enjoyable!
