Kendare Blake None, except for Tybalt the cat, who was my cat. Also Thomas's car is a real car. And...I guess some of the ghosts were based on real ghosts? If you want to count them.

Also this came up in my mind whilst reading, but what if the queens didn't kill eachother or there are 2 queens left after the whole Ascension Year, what happens? Do they wait until 1 remains or not?
