I found the book Avalon when looking for a book to read for homework and I absolutely fell in love with it. Did you have some inspiration from Star Wars, because of what happened at the end, and with the fact he was a mecinary and called Sierra Sweathart like Han? Mindee Arnett Thanks so much for your message. I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed Avalon. I'm definitely a huge Star Wars fan and it no doubt had an influence. Although primarily, the book was inspired by the tv show Firefly. Have you seen that one? It's fantastic. I hope you enjoy Polaris as well!
