Goodreads asked B. Lynn Goodwin:

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

B. Lynn Goodwin Hmmm. Fictional . . . I was going to say that I'd go to the prairies occupied by Laura Ingalls Wilder and family, but that's not fictional. Nor is the world of Holden Caulfield. NYC is very real and so are prep schools. Carol Goodman uses the Hudson Valley, but once again, it's a real world.

I'd love to visit the literary world in Florida that's shown in Camino Island, just to hang out with those people and be reminded that everyone wants something. Maybe I am misunderstanding?

What I'd want to do in any of those worlds is step into the shoes of the character and experience the place from her or his point of view.

If I misunderstood something, please write back, and thanks for your question. It was a pleasure to find it.
