Ned
Ned asked Nicholas Eames:

Loved your book! Can you tell me what part of your writing process you enjoy the most and what part the least?

Nicholas Eames Hi Ned! I'm so glad you loved the book! And thank you for the question.

The best part about the writing process is getting into a groove with dialogue, when the characters sort of 'take over' and you just glide along with them. Also, nailing a particularly troubling paragraph after HOURS of agonizing over every word of it is great as well.

The worst? Well, to be honest: deadlines. I hate them. I know they're a necessary part of the business, but I've discovered that they stress me out real bad and I tend to write slower as they approach as opposed to faster. Hopefully, as I develop as a writer, I'll find habits and processes that help me be more productive when I do write, so I need not stress out when deadlines approach!

Thanks again for the question!
