I would love to see Detective Inspector Skelgill as a series on PBS. The setting of these murders just cries out to be on television. Any chance of that happening?

Bruce Beckham Hi Betty – thanks for the question – I couldn’t agree more: the setting of the Lake District (for which I can take no credit) would probably merit a TV series in its own right, never mind a detective overlay. As for the latter, however, I think it’s mainly down to serendipity – but it is something I hope to be a little more pro-active with after the 10th book is published in January 2018. In the meantime, maybe I should start filming some of my own ‘trailers’ and posting them on YouTube! You may have noticed I have begun to upload relevant photographs on my profile page – hopefully these capture something of the fabric of the environment... such as this one of Derwentwater taken from Skiddaw...
