There is not a book of yours that I have read and not LOVED. The Sookie Stackhouse Series holds the top shelf of my book collection. I haven't read the third book in the Midnight Texas series yet but I know it will be a treat when I do. Your books make a person want to crawl into that world and stay forever. Who are your inspirations and/or favorite authors?? PS: You're one of mine!!

What a very nice thing to say. There are so many writers who give me reading pleasure. I talk about other peoples' books on my website in the Book & Blog feature. Some of my favorites in the last few years are Anne Bishop's "Others" series and Daniel O'Malley's books THE ROOK and STILETTO. I also love Leigh Perry's Sid the Skeleton books and Katie Ruggle's romances. Anything by Dana Cameron, Lee Child, Benedict Jacka, Mike Carey, Dana Stabenow . . . on and on.

They have been my absolute favorite book series ever since I first began reading them about ten years ago. In fact, I love them so much, I own multiple editions! Who is your favorite character from the Sookie series?
