Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

B.K. Harrell The idea for my most recent release A Heart in Remission came to me while I was in Afghanistan. While writing my first book I already knew the story of the second book. I watched as soldiers, sailors, and marines were killed in action and my heart went out to their families. Especially the husbands and wives they left behind. I wanted to tell the story of their struggles to find love again in a post loss world.
