Short question, long answer. My most vivid memory is endlessly running around the junior high track, fantasizing about storylines to take my mind off the pain in my legs. Honestly, I can't remember a time I wasn't creating stories, but didn't actually put it down on paper until a high school English teacher encouraged me to do so.
