What literary tradition (or something else) inspired you to create Weylyn? Halfway through Beasts and I just love this character so much.

Ruth Emmie Lang Hi Cristina! Weylyn isn't based on anyone/thing in particular, but parts of his personality were most likely influenced by my husband. I also like to think that there's a little of myself in him, too. I'm mostly a Mary (skeptical and prone to over-thinking things), but every now and then, a little Weylyn sneaks through. Also, Weylyn's love of nature definitely comes from my own love of nature :)
