How long did you have the character of Weylyn in your mind's eye? Such a delightful character, but with an artful sense of mystery.

Hi Marzie,
Thank you! It wasn't until I was several chapters in that I figured out who Weylyn was. I knew I wanted him to live with wolves, but I didn't want him to be a stereotypically "feral" boy. His personality developed over the course of the year it took to write the 1st draft and I did a lot of going back and retroactively changing things he said and did to keep him consistent. :)
