I have just come across your book Bonfire as a recommendation - I had a slight heart palpitation seeing your name as the author but I am also incredibly excited! (HHHUUUUUGGGGGGEEEEE Jessica Jones fan - she's kind of my spirit animal) Anyways, my question is, what motivated or prompted you to write this novel, and how long have you been cooking this masterpiece?

Krysten Ritter I’ve been working on it for a few years. I was inspired by a lot things but mostly I wanted to deeply and authentically explore the experience of coming from a small town.
