Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Awdhesh Singh We are all familiar with intelligence which is often measured by IQ Tests. However, we don't know how an IQ Test measures human intelligence. We call a person intelligent who can understand the real life problems and solve it efficiently and effectively. However, unlike the problems of IQ Tests which have standard solutions and we can improve the score with more practice, the real life problems don't have ready-made solutions and there are no re-takes.

Your success in solving real life problems depends on:
• Knowledge of your own Self
• Knowledge of others—your allies and your opponents
• Knowledge of the ground situation
• Knowledge of the various techniques that need to be employed
• Intuition to select the best technique
Though all the above factors are essential for problem solving, only the various techniques can be taught, the rest must be developed from within.
I have thus defined Spiritual Intelligence as: Intuitive knowledge of the Self, others, situations and techniques to achieve the desired objectives of the world.
I have explained the concept of Spiritual Intelligence in my book "Practising Spiritual Intelligence: For Innovation, Leadership and Happiness" in most lucid manner by the help of many stories, jokes and anecdotes, which readers enjoy and love.
