What inspired the quest for magic in WE HUNT THE FLAME?

Hafsah Faizal Oh, I'm not sure. The story itself first came to life after I watched two movies back to back: THE HUNGER GAMES and LORD OF THE RINGS. I never set out to write about a quest for magic, but I do know my characters were searching for *something*, and magic turned out to be it!
