I really enjoyed your novel, Baby Teeth. Absolutely gripping psychological thriller. I am curious if you think you will write a sequel to it some day? I feel like the way it ended left it open as an option, which would be amazing.

Thank you, Selena! Part of what I wanted to do with the ending is leave readers imagining for themselves what might happen next, or in the next couple of years. One concern for writing a sequel is it would probably make the "resolution" too definitive - at least for me, and possibly for some readers as well. But many have asked about a sequel, and I certainly appreciate that people want to spend even more time with these characters and see what happens to them!

Thank you, Zoje, for your artistry! "Mothered" was one of the best books I've read all year, and "Baby Teeth" was entirely deserving of all its acclaim. You wrote you initially pursued a career as a filmmaker, and since Baby Teeth was optioned, I'm curious whether you're involved in the adaptation of the book into a screenplay? Do you have any desire to write a screenplay, rather than a novel, at some point? Thanks

This isn't really a question(?), but Baby Teeth was my favorite read of 2020- I finished it in one sitting, three hours after I bought it. It was the book that pulled me out of a rough time and immersed me back into devouring one book a day. I just wanted to say thank you for writing such an amazing book!!
