Good afternoon Darren. Did you have a particular age group in mind when you were writing the Zom-B series? Carol

Darren Shan I never think of an age range when I write a book. Every reader is different, so like most writers, I'm reluctant to apply age branding to my books. That said, Zom-B is a bit more gritty than my other series, and features some (mild) bad language and explore issues like racism and domestic abuse. As a general rule of thumb, when pressed I usually recommend my vampire books for 10/11 years old up, my Demonata books for 11/12 year olds up, and Zom-B for 12/13 year olds up. But, hey, I have 6 year olds read my work and been fine with it! Like I say, every reader is different.
