I feel a very strong spiritual affinity with the Five Gods theology to the extent of seriously considering writing it as my religion on the New Zealand census form this week. My desultory searches have not shown up anyone else taking it this seriously. Are you aware of any expressions of the Five Gods spirituality outside of your novels?

Five gods, I hope not. I have less than zero desire to follow in the footsteps of L. Ron Hubbard...
That said, there seems to be an interesting bifurcation in reviews of the Five Gods stories, between readers who are alive to the spiritual issues and take seriously how and why they drive the characters, and another reader-stream who seem to be completely tone-deaf to such issues, and thus find the courses of actions baffling, pointless, trivial, or not matching their expectations of how a story should go and why.

Lois McMaster Bujold:
I Whole-heartily Love All Your Books. I've read (or listened) to all of them at least twice. Re-listening to the Sharing Knife series for the 4th time currently. Recently I re-read The Spirit Ring novel. Like all your works, it was wonderfully done. There were so many possibilities and hints for more. Please forgive me if you've already answered this, but why was there no Follow-up to The Spirit Ring?

With the virus closing almost everything down, do you still plan to attend the SFWA Nebula Conference in May?

Lois McMaster Bujold:
In nearly all your books, you use only a single Point of View character, and generally I really love your close third person style. Recently, though, I was rereading The Warrior's Apprentice, and it occurred to me that Elena has a huge personal story that we don't get to see much of. Did you ever consider using a dual POV for this book, or otherwise consider letting us see the world through Elena's eyes?
