I’m currently reading “A Place Called Morning”, and have downloaded “Promises Kept” and “Traveler Rest”. I love your books! Did you grow up in Minnesota?

I love it that you are reading my books. It's always special to me to hear that "The Prayer Box" inspired a reader to make and give prayer boxes. I visited Michigan often because all my grandparents and various other lived in Michigan. My parents moved around a lot and I was raised in Massachusetts, Ohio, Florida and other states, but not Minnesota.

Hi Lisa - I really enjoyed listening to this book on Audible. It is so sad this could actually happen to a family. It's horrible enough they're poor, but to rip them apart seems completely unreasonable. Not bad enough, some of them end up with horrific people at the Children's Home and are abused. Thank you for this absolutely well-written story. Do you know where your next book will take you?
