Hi Lisa, I have just read Before We Were Yours and it is my favourite book for 2018 (I managed to read 45 books). Please can you tell me if you have any other stand alone novels as I see some of them are part of a series? I can't wait for your new historical novel. Regards from South Africa.

Hi Debbie, My other books are all in sets of companion books. They are not really series. You can read any of the books as stand alones and probably would not even realize there are a few other books that share the setting or some local characters or are members of the same family. In each book there are different main characters and a totally different story. Although you could start with any of my books, I'd suggest starting with the first book in a set. Then if you like it you'd probably enjoy reading other books in the set.
Tending Roses has just been reissued with a new cover and now Good Hope Road has also. Many of my readers are rereading these favorites and I'm hearing from many new readers just discovering my books and loving those.
And, with the popularity of Before We Were Yours, there is also a resurgence of The Prayer Box and the associated books. All are written in a style similar to BWWY and all have a strong historical strand within a modern day story.
I love it that BWWY is your fav for 2018. Take a chance on one of these other suggestions. Let me know what you think... :o)

Lisa...Judy Stanford was named that by her adoptive parents, the Staffords. Since Avery Stafford is her grand daughter, it is assumed that Judy Stafford married at one point and had a son whose name was also Staffird. Did Judy marry a man with last name Stafford so she became Judy Stafford Stafford. I’m confused as to how Judy Stafford’s name carried over to her son??? Please clarify. I loved the book!
