I am fascinated with the cover of this book! How did you choose the cover and the title for the book?

Eldonna Edwards Oh my gosh, I literally squealed when I first saw that cover. I love the way the girl seems to be "feeling" the world around her. I'm working on a blog post right now with a fascinating follow-up about the cover model and how her mother found me on Facebook. Stay tuned.

I knew I wanted to use a hymn for the title. I'd originally titled the book A WRETCH LIKE ME but decided it was too much of a downer. I switched to AMAZING GRACE but that one felt cliche. As "The Knowing" developed I came up with THIS I KNOW from the children's song by Anna B. Warner. It felt perfect for the story.
