When you get in the zone of writing what do you acredit your passion to?

Eldonna Edwards Caffeine? ;) When I'm truly in the writing zone I'm driven by wanting to find out what story these characters are jonesing to tell. Quite often it's not the one I planned. I'm often surprised the next day when I reread deep-zone writing. I'll wonder aloud, "Who wrote this?" It's such an amazing feeling to penetrate below the surface of a story to the emotions that drive us to make choices, good and bad. Thanks for your great question Kate!
