How would you explain the "gift" to a young child?

Eldonna Edwards I think I would say that it's a "feeling" voice inside people. The same one that tells them to look the other way one more time before they cross a street or to back away from someone who gives them a bad feeling or that dreamy feeling when they remember something people say they couldn't possibly know. I'd explain that some people are like doors and others are like curtains. Doors are solid and shut out most of the world but curtains let the breeze and birdsong come through. Interesting question!
