Kiesha ~ Gwenllian ferch Gruffydd

Hello, Are your books connected? I am listening to Injured Sensibilities and while I've not read your other books, I did read the synopsis and noticed the characters from those books mentioned in this one. I'm wondering if I should have started with another book, yikes!

Ilene Withers Thank you for asking! “Injured Sensibilities” can certainly be read as a stand-alone novel. While there are a few recurring characters in the book, it is not necessary to have “met” them before. However, I would recommend reading “The Blackmailed Beauty” before “To Release an Earl”. That way you’ll be familiar with Willa and John. To tell the truth, Miss Marty in “Injured Sensibilities” is my favorite character that I have written. I grew up on a ranch and come from a long line of spunky, independent women so her character felt the most natural for me. I hope you will read all of my books and let me know which is your favorite. While I have most recently published a contemporary romance, “The Family Plan”, you can expect more historicals from me in the future.

All the best,
Ilene
