Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Charissa Weaks I wrote the first scenes of my short story, Haven, in 2013. It was what I call free writing. It sat hidden away in my computer until I saw the announcement for the Romantic Times short story contest. I then played with what content I already had, which was strictly post-apocalyptic, and added a fantasy element while intensifying the romance. It worked!
