Teal asked R. Cooper:

Any chance of a sequel to Wicklow's Odyssey?

R. Cooper Oh my god, I WISH. In a world in which I did not have to have a day job, and in which I was wealthy enough to write what I want, I would write either a sequel or more prequel-y stories to Wicklow. But in this world, Wicklow's Odyssey did not and does not sell well *at all* and in fact, did so badly that I considered stopping writing professionally altogether for a while. So it doesn't feel like a safe investment for my time right now, since I need the paychecks.

But if I were going to--several things. Louis (and his incredibly flexible sexuality). Oliver (the prostitute, you know the one). Mariama learning some spy stuff. PILAR AND AMELIA, WHAT IS HAPPENING THERE MAYBE SOMETHING? IDK. (Though tbh, Amelia and Louis is also good. And someone once said Louis and Anthony as a joke but my brain was like *we could work with this*). So with all those characters, stuff would definitely be happening, though I am not quite sure what. (Also we definitely need a new character or two, and there was a Chinatown in D.C. at that time is all I am saying.)

But as for Wicklow and Rhoades. Well. Wicklow's still learning about love and sex and trust. Rhoades is still making powerful enemies (AND WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT IF WICKLOW FINALLY TRUSTED HIM ENOUGH TO ASK HIM TO FUCK HIM, ONLY BEING WICKLOW HE DOES IT RIGHT BEFORE HE'S CALLED AWAY. AND THEN IN THE MEANTIME--WITH RHOADES IN AN AGONY OF DELIGHT AND THUS DISTRACTED--SOMETHING VERY VERY BAD HAPPENS TO RHOADES, AND WICKLOW AND TEAM MUST GO DO BAD THINGS AND SAVE HIM????)

*sigh* Maybe someday.
