Judy Corry:
Hi, Mrs. Corry. You might have noticed me giving all of your YA books 5 out of 5 stars. Did you know you made me believe in YA contemporary romance again? Because you totally did. Before another favorite author of mine recommended your books, I never batted an eyelash at YA contemporary romance. So thanks for that:) What tips do you have for an aspiring writer, like me? And will you be writing anotheramazingYAromance?

I'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying my books! I need to thank that author who recommended mine to you. ;)
Some tips I would give you as an aspiring writer is to first, read a lot of the types of books you want to write. Really learn what you like as a reader and then try to re-create it in your own book. Then write the best book you know how to and finish it. Finishing your first book is an amazing accomplishment and should be celebrated.
I would also suggest going to writers conferences, joining the online writing community (there are lots of really great writers groups on Facebook). Then also I highly recommend getting critique partners and beta readers to read your book and help you make it the best it can be. :)
I have a youtube channel that I talk about writing and publishing with four other Sweet Romance authors if you wanted more in-depth types of tips later on down the road. (We're called "The Writing Gals". We also have a facebook page for writers, which is a great place to talk about writing and learn from as well.)
Sorry...that's a lot of info. I'm kind of passionate about this writing thing if you can't tell. ;)
Basically, just start writing is my first tip. Everything else will follow. :)
And yes, I'm currently working on my 4th book in the Ridgewater High series and I have at least one more planned in that series. Pretty much as long as people keep reading my books, I'll keep writing them because I love it so much and I have way too many ideas in my "idea file." :)
Thank you so much for reading my books! I couldn't do my dream job without readers like you! :)
